Questions

Frequently asked

What is a Vettley Signal Score?

A score from 0 to 100 built from automated checks of public signals: a valid secure website, a site that loads, a mobile-ready homepage, a listed phone and street address, and how long the website domain has been registered. See how it is calculated.

Is Vettley a review site?

No. Vettley does not collect or publish reviews or opinions. Every signal is a fact we checked on the date shown in the report.

Does a high score mean a business does good work?

No. The score shows how a business presents itself online. It says nothing about workmanship, pricing or licensing. Always ask for proof of license and insurance where your state requires it.

Can a business pay for a better score?

No. Scores cannot be bought. A business can fix its own signals, such as renewing a security certificate, and request a free recheck.

How often are businesses checked?

Every report shows the date of its last check. We recheck businesses over time and whenever an owner asks.
