What Vettley reports are

Vettley reports describe the results of automated checks of publicly available information, such as whether a website loaded and whether its security certificate was valid, on the date shown. Reports and scores are informational only. They are not reviews, endorsements, recommendations, ratings of quality, honesty or workmanship, or statements about any business's licensing, insurance or legal standing.

Accuracy

Websites and listings change, and automated checks can be wrong, for example because of temporary outages or blocked connections. Reports are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Do your own research before hiring or buying from any business.

Corrections and removal

Businesses and their authorized representatives may request a recheck, correction or removal through our request form. We review requests in good faith.

Acceptable use

Do not scrape the site at a rate that disrupts it, misrepresent your connection to a business, or use the site for unlawful purposes. You may share links to reports and businesses may display their own badge.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on information on this site.

Operator disclosure

Vettley's operator also runs businesses that may appear or advertise on Vettley. They are checked by the same automated tools and scored the same way as every other business. Reports for those businesses carry a disclosure note.
